Brenda's obituary

Brenda Sue Pettit (nee Kolasci) passed away on August 1, 2024, at 74 after a long battle with serious health conditions. She was born in Martins Ferry, OH, before moving to Moundsville, WV. She was the daughter of Paul Kolasci and Hazel Kolasci (later Hazel West). Brenda grew up with her sister Naomi Maxwell and had older half-siblings Paul Kolasci Jr and Virginia. She married her loving husband Carl Pettit in 1968. She was the beloved mother of Kerri, Eric, and Lacy Pettit and a devoted grandmother to Cody Pettit and Hannah Oliver. In death, she has joined her father, mother, half-siblings, and grandson in Heaven. She also leaves behind her constant companion of the past five years, her dog Sasha.

As per Brenda's wishes her family will hold a gathering to celebrate her life at her home on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 2-5 pm.

They would also like to say a special thank you to the wonderful nurses from Bayview Home Health who provided her care, compassion, and friendship every week for many years.
