Brenda's obituary
The funeral will be held on Sunday January 10th, at 2808 O Flannagan St. Grand Island, NE 68803 with Associate Pastor Brian A. Pomictor officiating. The Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a Funeral Service from 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM. A livestream will be provided to family and friends who are unable to attend in person. (More details on the livestream will be provided.) The internment will be held sometime in the spring. (More details on that to follow in the next coming months.) Memorials are suggested to Grant or Briana Norman.
Brenda was born on May 7th, 1952. Her formative years were split between Grand Island, Ord, North Loup, and Worms, Nebraska. Brenda was a graduate of Ambassador College in Big Sandy Texas. She spent over 30 years working in her business Rainbow Painting and Papering. Recently she was working as an In-Home Care provider for an elderly couple for about the last 3 years.
She was united in marriage to Rex Norman. After which, the couple had two children, Grant and Briana Norman.
Brenda was a baptized lifetime member of God's church. Known for her generous servings of wonderful meals and ornate flower arrangements. Brenda was a hobbyist, artist and avid gardener.
She is preceded in death by Leroy Peyton, father, Marcella Peyton, mother, and Rex Norman, ex-husband.
She is survived by Briana Norman (daughter) and Grant Norman (son). A beautiful and lovely kindhearted woman, she fought bravely to the end to stay with her family. But it wasn't meant to be. God knows best where she is in His plan. She will be remembered and greatly missed by all.
