Brenda's obituary
Brenda Sue Nagler, 69, of Linden, North Carolina passed away
on January 6, 2026. Born on January 19, 1956, in Bridgeton, New Jersey, Brenda
lived a life marked by resilience, creativity, and deep faith.
Brenda pursued her education with determination and
excellence, graduating with highest honors from ITT Technical Institute with an
Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Drafting and Design. Her
academic achievements reflected her dedication to learning and her drive to
succeed.
Though trained in technical design, Brenda followed her
heart into the culinary world. Cooking was more than a profession for her—it
was a passion. She found joy in creating dishes that brought people together
and delighted those around her with meals crafted from both skill and love.
Brenda, known for her
sense of humor and being silly. She cherished time spent with her family, whether gathering
around a bonfire under the stars or enjoying music and games together, she
found happiness in shared moments. She loved listening to rock music and often
relaxed by spending time with her animals, playing puzzles and internet
games—simple pleasures that brought her comfort and joy.
Her journey through illness became a profound spiritual
experience. After a long battle with cancer, Brenda spoke of how the Lord
revealed Himself to her personally, and through the words of doctors who called
her a miracle. This deepened her faith immeasurably. Upon moving to Linden,
North Carolina, she found a spiritual home at Unity Baptist Church of Linden,
where she drew closer to Jesus and embraced the church community as family.
