Brenda's obituary

Brenda Jean Morales, born in Brockton Mass on October 9th, 1961, settled in Tucson, AZ in 1971. Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on October 7th, 2023.

Brenda is survived by her husband Ben Morales (39 years), daughter Bridget Cashin (Morales) and son Brandon Morales. Grandmother to Kaden Cashin (15) and Samuel Cashin (2). She was the youngest of 4 children, survived by her brother David Terry, and sister Diane Wilson (Terry).

Brenda met the love of her life, Ben, in 1983 at a friend’s wedding. Brenda and Ben fell in love on the dance floor, they danced their way through Tucson.

Brenda's true joy came from her family and friends. She took pride in her children and her grandchildren. You could always find Brenda in her backyard, listening to music, playing dice, cribbage, darts and swimming in her pool. She loved the desert, sunsets, and monsoons. Her passions included traveling to San Diego, Hawaii, and Europe with her best friend (sister). She was an avid music lover, always saving her pennies to take her and her children to concerts. She always found a way to make it to the front row and sometimes even made it backstage.

Brenda was an advocate for breast cancer awareness, her passion led her to complete her medical assistance certification in the early 2000s.

The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes they have received over the past few months. A notification to friends and family will be sent out for a Celebration of Life.
