Brenda Joyce Loyd, a long time resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023. She was born December 4, 1941 in Tryon, North Carolina.

Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was devoted to her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Thornton, her husband Audrey Leon Loyd, and her grandson Dylan Robinson.

She is survived by her children, Victory Hulett (Joe), Cathy Harris, Tim melton (Tu), Anna Marie Pugh (Scott) and Charlene Burks.

Nine grandchildren, Trisha Nguyen, Tyler Nguyen (Cecily), Trina Nguyen, Sip (John) Wilson (Karen), Delana Ibsen (Ken), Alexis Hahn (Andy), Scottie Pugh, Meagan Gregson (Tim), Tory McQueen (Bobby), and eighteen loving great grand children.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brenda’s name to Wilmer Hall Children’s Home, Mobile, Alabama.
