Brenda Gayle Lindsey, 71, of Petersburg, passed away on February 5, 2023 in Petersburg Virginia. Celebration of life will be 2:00 pm Friday, February 10th at 19600 Halloway Ave, Petersburg VA with Josh Cottrell of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, leading services.

Brenda was born in Danville Virginia to Russell Mills Sr & Louise Mills on 1/20/1952. She worked for the Department of corrections for the state of Virginia.

Brenda is preceded in death by her father Russell Mills Sr, her mother Louise Mills, and her sister Judy Davis. Brenda is survived by her son Mark Stoney Wilcox, son Owen Wray Lindsey & Wife Megan Lindsey, son Jamie Fly, brother Russell Harding Mills Jr, granddaughter Shaina Marie Lynch, great granddaughter Kursten Marie Lynch, and Isabelle Dawn Russell.
