Brenda Deanna Leach passed away on September 9, 2025, leaving behind a family who honors her life and the place she holds in their story.

She is survived by her children: Devon Orr and wife, Emily Orr, of Conway; Haydon Schmelter and fiancée, Danika Brady, of Morrilton; and Skylar Koch and husband, Levi Koch, of Petit Jean. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Nora, Rowan, and River.

Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, Brenda Ware Minnie and Larry Don Leach, and her brother, Gary Don Leach.

Deanna was especially proud of earning her bachelor’s degree in social work and completing numerous certifications throughout her career. She valued helping others and gave all of herself whenever she could — often even when she didn’t have anything to give. She also cherished her role as an aunt, loving every opportunity to spend time with her nieces and nephews.

Most of all, her greatest pride was her children. The lives they are building today stand as the most enduring part of what she leaves behind. Deanna’s family will hold close the bonds shaped through her. Her memory serves as a reminder of the value of family, even when the journey has not always been easy.

A graveside memorial service will be held on October 10, 2025, at 2 p.m. at McGhee Cemetery.
