Brenda Lanier gained her angel wings on October 19, 2022 at her home in Warrensville Heights, OH. Brenda was 73 years old.

Brenda's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed with us.
Brenda was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a shining light to anyone that she touched. She always put her family first.  When Brenda wasn't working or playing chess, she could be found watching her shows or spending time with her grandkids. Not a day went by where Brenda didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Elbert Lanier, her children, Andre Lanier and Lynda Lanier, her grandchildren, Andre Lanier Jr, Dasha Lanier, and Layla Lanier, and countless friends. Services are still being organized, but will be held in Cleveland in the month of October. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to Sisters of Charity Foundation, an organization Brenda cared for.
