Brenda's obituary
Brenda “Honey” Lee Keppen
June 3, 1957 - November 1, 2025
Brenda “Honey” Lee Keppen, age 68, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on November 1st, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on June 3rd, 1957, Brenda lived a life filled with love, laughter, and generosity. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of everyone she met. Known affectionately as “Honey” to her grandkids, she had a heart of gold and a gift for making those around her feel special.
Brenda spent many years as a dedicated employee of ProHealth Care, where her compassion and work ethic left a lasting impression on everyone she crossed paths with. Outside of work, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures- spending time with her family, cooking delicious meals, and hunting down treasures and good deals at stores like Goodwill and Ross. She loved animals dearly, especially her beloved dogs Winnie and recently departed Chala.
What Brenda will be remembered for most is her big heart, incredible sense of humor and how she had such a lighthearted spirit that made everything more enjoyable. Whether it was a family holiday, a shopping trip, or just sitting around for dinner, her energy was so warm and comforting and her presence could brighten any room.
She is survived by her children Shannon (Joe) and their children Taylor, Alex, and Presley; Dusty (Kristen) and their children Emma, Elliana, and Evelyn; and Brittany (Joe Joe) and their children Kingston and Pepper, and her brother Randy and niece Selena. Brenda's love for her family was endless, and her memory will live on through each of them.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 20th at Raised Grain Brewery in Waukesha, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, eat some good food, and honor her remarkable spirit.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research, or Waukesha County Humane Society in Brenda’s memory.
Brenda will be deeply missed, but her warmth, humor, and love will continue to shine through all the lives she touched.
