Brenda and I were high school sweethearts and we got married at a young age. We went off to university together and had two wonderful children, Michael and Laura who I am so proud of today. We were later divorced and stayed friends over the years. I feel deep sadness that Brenda has passed. She was a wonderful mother and good friend. We will all miss her, the love and care expressed by family and friends during her passing was heartfelt. Richard (Rick) Hansen

I was thinking of how brave my Aunt Brenda was when I heard the news of Brenda's passing. She was an amazing woman who I will forever remember.

Brenda, it was an honour and a privilege to have known you.  You were always interesting and so much fun to spend time with.  I carry many fond memories from all those card games and the ladies luncheons. 

My dear friend of over 50 years. Always so kind and gentle. Will miss her terribly. So many wonderful memories.

Well, Brenda, my dear.  I am sorry you have left, but glad that the pain is over.   I will remember your life full of love and laughter and family.
