Brenda Herman (Smith), born in Logan, WV September 25, 1948, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, February 9, 2026 at the age of 77. She passed peacefully holding her husband’s hand to wake again in the arms of our Lord.

Brenda, a great wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt is survived by her loving husband, Lou Herman; sons David Stephens and Jason (Apryl) Stephens; brothers Bradley Smith and William “Bill” (Kathy) Smith; loving mother Jewell Smith; three grandchildren Dakota, Libbee and Rook Stephens, as well as her nieces and other close family. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert “Bob” Smith.

The family would like to express our thanks to Ponte Vedra Gardens for their wonderful help and care. At Brenda’s request, a private memorial will be held on her behalf.
