Brenda's obituary
Brenda Gail Smith was born on December 20, 1947, in Williamson WV. She died peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of July 6, 2024. She was followed in death by her husband, Thomas F. Morris, on July 10, 2024.
A devoted Christian Scientist, Brenda's faith was a guiding light throughout her life, providing her with strength and serenity. She had a deep love for animals and found joy in caring for a variety of creatures, including birds, bunnies, cats, dogs, goats, cows, horses, and chickens.
As a mother, Brenda was extremely accepting and rarely judgmental, a trait that deeply influenced her children and grandchildren in their lives. Her kind, and gentle nature, along with the emotional support she gave, created an ongoing feeling of being loved and appreciated by those around her.
She leaves behind a son and daughter-in-law, Tim Smith and Michele Kielty of Staunton; a daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Kenny Losh of Fishersville; five grandchildren - Samantha Faris, Khayman Smith, Kamden Losh, Halah Helmuth, and George Lacy Losh; and six great-grandchildren - Micah, Adrianne, Jude, Rosaleigh, Naomi, and Holston.
