Brenda's obituary
Brenda Jo Fletcher, 60, passed away on March 4, 2026, in Delaware, Ohio. She was born on September 11, 1965, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Brenda was the beloved daughter of Nancy and Ted Fletcher of Sebring, Florida. She was the loving partner of David Weiser of Delaware, Ohio. She is also survived by her sisters, Nikki Kinner of Yuba City, California, and Shannon Levesque of Olivehurst, California, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish her memory.
Brenda was a proud and devoted bonus mother to her daughters Devin Weiser, Sammie Evans (Ru), and Meghan Weiser (Ben) of Delaware, Ohio. She was also a loving grandmother to her grandchildren James Swindler, Roy Evans, Cappy Drum, and Reenie Evans, who brought her immense joy.
Brenda had a deep love for nature and especially for her many plants, which she cared for with pride. She treasured her RiverView Campground family and the many friendships she built there. Brenda also had an incredible passion for rescuing animals. Throughout her life she saved and cared for many beloved fur babies including Bear Fletcher, Isabella, Ella, and Rudy.
In one of her final acts of compassion, just days before her passing, Brenda rescued one last dog, Kuma—an act that perfectly reflected the kindness and love she showed throughout her life.
Brenda had a huge heart and loved her family and friends deeply. She was a light to many and will be remembered for her generosity, warmth, and the love she gave so freely. Those who knew her take comfort in imagining her with her arms wide open, reunited with her beloved animals Bobo, Tanner, Sugy, and Bella.
