Brenda's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Clay on July 22, 2024. Born to the late James Lee Cooper and Mary Robetielle on November 18, 1958, Brenda lived a full and meaningful life, marked by love, service, and deep faith.

Brenda's spirit will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Virginia Damron, John Cooper, Jamie Roberts, Dorie Baker, and Charles Cooper. She was predeceased by her dear siblings Melody Mose, Rick Zimmerman, Mary Lou Smith, and Candy Jones. As an adored mother, Brenda leaves behind a cherished legacy in her children Shane Cooper, Angel Dimick, and Robert Clay. She also held a special love in her heart for her several grandchildren.

Known for her love of gospel music, Brenda was a woman who found joy in the simple things. Her faith was the driving force in her life and she often shared the teaching of love and reverence for God. The support and love she extended towards her family and friends were unparalleled. Brenda stood as an epitome of generosity, virtue, and kindness - a beacon of unconditional love and unwavering faith.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you honor Brenda’s memory by extending love and kindness to those around you, just as Brenda would have done. Through these gestures, her spirit will continue to live on.

Brenda Clay was a woman of strength and grace; her life was a testament to her faith and the love she had for everyone in her life. She will be deeply missed but her lessons and love will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.

Brenda's memorial service will be attended by her immediate family  only on the family property per Brenda's wishes.
