Brenda's obituary
Brenda Blair, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Dec 4, 2010. Born on Oct 26, 1948, she lived a life filled with honesty, love, and devotion to her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but she will never be forgotten.
She started her journey in life guided by her parents, Princess Slone and Ananias Blair, both whom predeceased her. In 1968, Brenda relocated to Berea, KY, where she began to lay the foundations of her future career and family life. In 1982, she achieved a significant milestone by graduating from Berea College with a B.S. in Nursing. This honest and hardworking woman made a difference in many lives through her nurturing and care.
Above all, Brenda's greatest accomplishments and pride were her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Melanie (Jay) Wyatt of Nicholasville KY, and son, Darrell Hurt of Berea KY. The joy of Brenda's life were her grandchildren: Max Hurt, Briana Fox, Alexander Wyatt, Tyeish Wyatt, Aurora Wu, Logan Fox, Laiken Wyatt, and Zachary Wyatt.
Brenda is also survived by her lifelong friend, Donna Forbes. Her legacy and memory will endure through the people whose lives she touched and influenced.
In remembering Brenda, her family will always cherish not just the love she radiated, but also the lessons she imparted. She taught the importance of honesty, kindness, and the power of love. Her memory will always serve as a guiding light for her family and everyone she held dear.
