I unfortunately just came across Bren obituary. I worked with him while he was the CFO at FTE. He was a wonderful and kind man. He left a lasting impression on me. Very saddened to hear of his passing. He made a difference in this world. Rest in peace.
I am just discovering this over a year later. I am so sorry to hear of Bren’s passing. He was a great friend while in High School and long after. We lost touch the last few years and I am deeply saddened to hear this. I have a lot of great memories with Bren and I am really in disbelief that this occurred. My thoughts and prayers are with Mary, Tom and Adam.
It was an honor to know and work with Bren. His knowledge, intellect and his enthusiasm were inspirational to many including myself. He did have a gentle nature but he always expected your best. He will be missed by many.
I was very blessed to have known and worked with Bren. I interviewed with him for a position at Florida's Turnpike Enterprise and though I did not get the position within his department, he called me personally, to let me know he wanted me on board within the organization. I had the pleasure of working with him for several years. He is greatly missed. My condolences to his family.
Bren was truly a blessing in my life. When Bren was my boss when I worked at the Turnpike, I was having a really rough time in life and started having severe panic attacks. I finally got up the courage to tell Bren what was going on and he really helped me transition to a position that I could handle. Also when my father was very sick, he always told me to go be with my family. One time when I drove up to see my dad in the hospital, he was so, so surprised I was there, he cried. My father is no longer with us, but I will never forget those special last moments I was able to spend with him. I will never, ever forget what Bren did for me and how he helped me through a very rough time. He was a wonderful person and had a very caring soul. See you on the other side my friend.
Knowing Bren was an honor, his intelligent gentle nature and kind heart left an eternal impression on all who had the pleasure of being in his company. He will be greatly missed. I hope the Dietrich family find comfort in knowing he is at peace.
