Braxton passed away at home with his loving father, following an almost three-year battle with Glioblastoma. Braxton was supported in his final hours and on his way to his next adventure by not only his self-less parent, but by his extended family, near and far, and his beloved Pawpaw who was patiently waiting to welcome Braxton with loving arms. While small in stature and not even in double digits, Braxton never faltered during his multiple rounds of treatment, surgery, and never-ending medical appointments, procedures, and hospital visits. Braxton was, and will always be, a source of strength and inspiration to all who came in contact with him. Braxton was guided on this grueling journey by his Father, Ryan, who was his biggest champion, tireless advocates, endless researchers, fierce protectors, best friends and playmates, and most importantly, an unconditional and never-ending source of love and dedication. Braxton’s extended family and friends played an important supporting role. Cancer took Braxton far too early, but it could not dim his light or smile…sometimes the ones who shine so brightly are only allowed to do so for a short time, and Braxton made the most of his time. Braxton’s life, while brief in time, was full of adventure, hugs, fun, friends, candy, puppies and most importantly, an abundance of love. Braxton did not lose to cancer—Braxton won at love, life, and happiness. Cancer, no matter how hard it tried, could never take that from him, Braxton is survived by his Father Ryan.
