So sorry for the loss of a great lady

My condolences to Brandy's family. I first met Brandy when she and her family moved to Burk. The first time I went over to her home, she welcomed me with open arms and then proceeded to spoil me for years to come.

I’m saddened by the loss of Brandy. She was very courageous in spite of a difficult path.🙏🏻

I’m heartbroken to hear about Brandy’s passing.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the memories we shared growing up—like at Grandma Hannah’s house, we always had to go to the bathroom together because we were sure her house was haunted. The grand piano, the picture of the man on the wall, the little bathroom in Grandma Hannah’s bedroom. The warnings to stay away from the bull cause he was mean. We were young but those moments are still so vivid.
I’ll never forget the time we spent doing makeup and hair on that giant Barbie head from the ‘80s—Brandy had one and I was envious because it was the coolest thing ever. And of course, shared love for Guns N’ Roses, and the rivalry: she was all about Axl, and I was team Slash all the way. Of course she loved the wild front runner of the band.
We drifted apart for a while, but reconnected in 2010-ish and I’m so grateful we did. We kept in touch a few times a year, always picking up like no time had passed.
She was funny, fierce, and unforgettable. My heart is with her husband, kids, grandbabies and everyone who loved her. Rest in peace, Brandy. You’ll always be part of my story and in my heart.
