Brandon's obituary

Brandon, 36, of Seattle, WA passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2021. We are devastated by this sudden loss.

Born on November 12th, 1984 to loving parents David and Jennifer, Brandon immediately filled the lives of those around him with joy. He was a talented artist and a kind hearted person. In his younger years, he loved art, Ghostbusters and Legos, in his later years, art, sailing, and hiking. Brandon graduated from Eastmont High School in 2003 in East Wenatchee, WA and went on to pursue a degree in Architecture at the University of Washington. He successfully completed his degree in 2012. After college, Brandon went on to work in architecture and his passion was sailing his boat on Lake Union. He was a self taught sailor. He loved to read and could learn just about anything he put his mind to from books.

Brandon was a loving uncle to Kayden, Joey, Cameron, Cole, Allyson and Alex. He was passionate about art, sailing, hiking, fishing and his ukulele. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and our hearts are broken from his sudden passing. His absence is deeply felt, we miss him, but we will see him again.

Brandon is predeceased by grandparents Jacqueline Barei, William F. Young, Mary and Larry Weyrick, and Donald Scott of Wenatchee, WA, survived by grandmother Jocelyn Young of Sequim, WA and grandmother Margaret Scott of Wenatchee, WA. He is survived by mother Jennifer Scott of Manson, WA, stepfather Paul Scott of Wenatchee, WA, father and stepmother David and Sara Weyrick of Maple Valley, WA, sisters Ashlei Stewart of Duvall, WA, Aimee Brock of Kent, WA, Kendra Scott of Wenatchee, WA and brother Kevin Scott of Wenatchee, WA. A celebration of life will be held at the Center for Wooden Boats, 1010 Valley Street, Seattle, WA 98109 on Sunday July 25th at 3pm.
