Brandon Scott Sexton of Cary, North Carolina, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on April 4, 2021. He was born on February 10, 1977, the son of Wayne and Susan Sexton. Brandon was a graduate of Cary High School (1995).

Brandon’s love of music, desire to help others, sense of humor, and love of family and friends defined who he was. Brandon was a devoted son, incredible brother, fun and loving uncle, and friend. He found fulfillment in his work and especially in supporting his team, and truly valued the relationships he developed at his current employer, IQVIA, and previous employers Nortel, CSC, and Music Connection. Brandon was a talented guitarist and a founding member of the Guns N’ Roses tribute band Appetite for Destruction.

One of Brandon’s deepest convictions was the connectivity of all creation and the need to move beyond barriers that divide. His spirit was one of love of others and acceptance. He listened to viewpoints from every angle in order to understand rather than judge. He had incredible patience and was always willing and wanting to help.

We are grateful for all who shared in his life’s journey and were a part of the gift he was and will continue to be. We pray you will pay his love forward through respect for one another without judgment, by helping others who are in need, and living life with gratitude and joy.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Claire Chadwick (Jim) of Charlotte, NC, niece Julienne Reynolds, nephew Alex Chadwick, and Ruth Ross, Glenn and Judy Sexton, Jason Sexton (Raiza), Linda Speck, Martha Huggins, Neal Huggins (Jeanine), and Lee Huggins (Annelise).
