Brandon Sean Reese, Obituary
Brandon Sean Reese, 31 of Haysville, Kansas died Thursday, April 15, 2021, from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident. His beloved dog Lucy, passed later from her injuries.
Brandon was born November 22, 1989 to Laurie Myers. When he was three, his mom married Don Reese and from that day forward Brandon called him dad. Brandon has now been reunited with his mom who passed November 25, 2019.
Brandon graduated from Haysville Campus High School. He briefly attended Wichita State University and later moved to Lawrence, Kansas. He met Christine Eslinger and they had two children, Penny and Abel. He was a devoted father and they were his pride and joys.
Eslinger Construction of Kinsley, Kansas employed Brandon for years and were his second family. Brandon had a “defwish” as his passion was deafeningly loud music. He co-founded Cherub Customs, a custom car stereo company (Elevating Audio Est. 2021).
Family and friends were of the utmost importance to Brandon. He was always ready to laugh and celebrate, but he was also there in their darkest times. Anyone close to Brandon knew he had a huge heart for everyone he met. He accepted people without judgement and he was loyal to those he loved.
Brandon loved to work and didn’t mind getting dirty. He was always ready for a concert or to cuddle with his kids and dogs. He played drums and guitar, even playing drums for West Evangelical Free Church.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughter, Penelope, age 6, son, Abel, age 4, both of Kinsley, Kansas; father, Don Reese of Haysville, Kansas; sister, Rachel Reese of Suwon, South Korea; brother, Parker Reese of Navy Nuclear Power Training Command in Goose Creek, South Carolina; grandmother Aurora Myers of Haysville, Kansas; grandmother Virginia Trenkle of Mulvane, Kansas and many family and friends.
He is preceded by his mother, Laurie Reese; grandfathers: Robert Myers, Donald Reese Sr. and Howard Trenkle.
Memorial service will be at West Evangelical Free Church, 1161 N. Maize Rd. in Wichita, Kansas on Saturday, May 1st at 2 pm.
There will be no visitation or graveside service. Interment will occur on a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Sedgwick County, Kansas.
