I am so sorry for your loss. I personally didn’t know Brandon but I came across the obituary. Loosing a loved in one in death is extremely difficult to deal with. I hope you are surrounded by love during this difficult time. Jehovah God promises that soon these tragedies will be done away with, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) Please know that not a single teardrop of yours has gone unnoticed by Jehovah.
