Brandon's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brandon Bielby, a man whose passion for life was evident in every endeavor he pursued. Born on July 12, 1982, Brandon left us too soon on July 5, 2023, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and a profound respect for the animal kingdom.
Brandon grew up in Utica, NY, graduating high school in 1999. A jovial and energetic personality, his love for life was infectious, brightening the lives of all who knew him. He was funny, caring, and loving, teaching us all to appreciate the small joys life has to offer.
An avid sports fan, Brandon's loyalty to the New York Yankees was unwavering. He thoroughly enjoyed playing games, with his niece's UNO being his favorite. He was also fond of spending time at the local baseball field, savoring both the thrill of the game and the bond of the community.
Brandon's favorite color was red - a symbol of his energy and love for life. He had a penchant for sweet tea, his beverage of choice during all gatherings and celebrations. However, his dedication did not end with his favorite team or drink. Brandon was deeply invested in animal welfare, supporting causes such as the ASPCA.
His greatest lesson for us - to take care of all animals, echoes his compassion and caring nature. His legacy, ultimately, is one of an unwavering love for animals, whose care he so earnestly championed.
He is survived by his loving sister, Nicole Bielby, who shares his passion for preserving his memory and continuing his actions in supporting the welfare of animals.
A viewing for Brandon will be held on July 19, 2023, at 5:00 PM at Matt Funeral Services Inc. This will be followed by a funeral service on July 20, 2023, at 7:00 PM at the same venue. We invite all who knew Brandon to join us in celebrating his life and honoring his memory.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to ASPCA, a cause that Brandon held dear to his heart.
Brandon McCluskey, a beacon of laughter, energy, and kindness, will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love and care for animals will forever live on. May he rest in peace.
