Branden's obituary
Branden Tyler Bass
August 29, 1996 – February 16, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Branden Tyler Bass, who left us too soon at the age of 28 on Sunday, February 16, 2025. Branden’s passion for learning, adventurous spirit, and deep love for the outdoors left an unforgettable mark on those who knew him. His curiosity about the world shaped the way he lived, always seeking knowledge and new experiences. No matter what he chose to pursue—whether in his personal passions or professional endeavors—he excelled, constantly pushing himself to grow and achieve.
Born on August 29, 1996, Branden had a passion for exploring the world around him. Whether hiking through Arizona’s trails with his beloved husky, Mishka, or camping under the stars with family and friends, he found peace and joy in nature. His curiosity extended beyond the outdoors—he was deeply fascinated by biology, chemistry, and computer engineering, always eager to learn and expand his knowledge. He also had a love for Japanese language and culture, dedicating time to studying and appreciating its rich history.
Branden will be remembered for his adventurous soul, sharp wit, and the quiet strength he carried through life.
He is survived by his father, Randy Bass, his mother, Minerva Mayer, his brother, Ryan Bass, his sisters, Brooke Bass-Burton and Tanya Cervantes, and many extended family members and close friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Chapel (44301 West Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway, Maricopa, AZ 85138).
Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Copper Sky Regional Park - Ramada 3 (44345 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Maricopa, AZ 85138), where light snacks and refreshments will be served.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the GoFundMe page (https://gofund.me/c9a4ea47) to help cover memorial expenses, cremation costs, and support causes Branden cared about.
Branden’s love for adventure, learning, and the people in his life will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will always be present in the mountains, the stars, and the stories we share.
With gratitude,
Randy Bass (Father), Minerva Mayer (Mother) and Family
