Bradley's obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Bradley Garrington, who closed his eyes to rest on November 30, 2025. Bradley was born on January 23, 1963, and throughout his life, he lived each moment with an unwavering resilience and love for his family. His prowess was not only evident in his accomplishments but also in the strength and unity of the family he leaves behind.
Bradley is survived by his loving wife, Holly Garrington, whom he married in 1987 and who remained his pillar of strength throughout. His legacy is his beautiful daughter, Serenity Rose Isabella Stivala. He is also survived by his sister, Darla Meador Wolfe, and his step-children, Michael Knight Jr., Jennifer Grossnicklaus, and Mark Knight.
Bradley was a proud grandfather to nine wonderful grandchildren: Taylor Knight, Savannah Howard, Shannon Dieter, Riley Knight, Grace Knight, Dusti Gibbs, Wyatt Grossnicklaus, Faith Knight, and Seth Grossnicklaus. His latest joy was his great-grandson, Luca Banx. His nieces, Brandie Burks, Ashley Blair, Paige Jenkins, and nephews Shea Taylor, Chad Garrington, Cody Garrington also mourn his loss.
Bradley was predeceased by his parents, Nancy and Clyde Garrington, his brothers Danny (Danzie) Garrington, Terry Garrington and his grandmother, Alliene Stallings.
Brad, also known as Bad Brad in his younger years, was more than just a family man. He was an attendee/friend of J Pat Burleson Martial Arts and Gateway NRH Church. His dedication and discipline also led him to serve as a coach at USA Gymnastics and TAAF Gymnastics. He believed that anything is possible and passed on this optimistic outlook to his athletes.
Bradley's life will be celebrated on January 17, 2026, from 3-7PM at 1900 FM2264, Decatur, Tx. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience, and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
