Another outstanding vacation Brad took with Barbara and his Dad was to see the fall foliage driving from Maine, through New Hampshire and Vermont, and going on to New York City, and Niagara Falls. They enjoyed a 2nd trip to NYC a few years later.

Brad took another great vacation with his Dad, and Barbara from New Orleans, along the Alabama and Mississippi gulf coasts to the Florida Panhandle, then down to Key West and around up the east coast side of Florida stopping at Cape Canaveral and SpaceX.

Brad went into Loma Linda University Medical Center for what ended up to be a total of 79 days waiting for & recovering from a heart and kidney transplant. The first 3 weeks we couldn’t visit him so we FaceTimed everyday

Brad received a heart and kidney transplant on April 2, 2021, he got out of the hospital 13 days later, it was a happy and exciting day, and such a relief to have him home again

Only 2 weeks after he got out of the hospital Brad had to go back due to an infection, then he was back home in 13 days. After that he was getting stronger, and doing a lot better all the way around. Little did we know it was our last month together.
