She was a devoted, stay-at-home mom for several years before beginning her career in medical transcription.
While working for the Health Department, she met, fell in love with, and married the love of her life, Curtis E. Price. Though Curtis passed away after only 15 years of marriage, their union produced 3 children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren before she passed away.
She was so much to so many souls during her time with us in this life. She was the best Daughter, Sister, Auntie, Mom, Grandmother, and Great Mother anyone could ask for before she passed away peacefully with loved ones at her side at the age of 84 on September 23rd, 2024. May her resilience and enduring grace inspire us all. She was a kind and thoughtful woman who adored each and every member of her large extended family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, her sister, Rose, her grandson, Lance, and her parents Walter & Maggie Lane. She is survived by her sister Clara, brother-in-law Lesley, and their son, Toby and his family; her younger brother, Bud; her three children, Scott, Wende, and Derek; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed. Though she has dropped her earthly body to be with her Lord in Heaven, her life here was a bright light that will be carried on for generations to come.
