Bonnie's obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we acknowledge the passing of  Bonnie Moyer, a remarkable woman of strength and resilience, on October 28, 2024. Born on November 22, 194, she charted a life marked by love, adventure, and indomitable spirit. Her loss will be felt deeply, not only by her family but by all who were fortunate to know her.

Bonnie was a woman of warmth, whose love for travel and music flowed through her. She held a particular fondness for her cats Jasper and before him Charlie. Finding joy in travels both far and near. She was truly in her element when spending time with her treasured children and grandchildren, often sharing these journeys with them. As well as Bingo every Wednesday at Bleachers with family and friends. Music festivals and concerts were a consistent source of delight, reflecting her vibrant spirit and zest for life.

She is survived by her loving children, daughter Michelle Leibel and son Mike Moyer, who embody her strength and kindness in their own lives. Bonnie was blessed with three grandsons: Devin Moyer, Dameon Moyer, and Donavon Moyer, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to their beloved grandmother. Also left to remember Bonnie is her partner Dirk Hummel, daughter-in-law, Jean Moyer, who was welcomed into the family with open hearts.

Preceding Bonnie in death were her caring parents, Beatrice and Roy Bjork. Their legacy of love and resilience continue to live on in Bonnie’s family. As well as family friend Jeannie Brendt

Some of her greatest accomplishments lay not in titles or accolades, but in the love she nurtured within her family. She took immense prude in in raising her beautiful children, Michelle and Michael, imbuing them with strength and purpose.

Bonnie was a survivor, having navigated life's trials with grace and perseverance. She imparted this resilience to those around her, teaching through her example that we are stronger than our challenges. Her ability to face adversity with courage was an inspiration to all who knew her.

In our mourning, we remember Bonnie’s wishes - that we celebrate her life rather than mourn her death. She would want us to be happy, to pursue our dreams, and to live with love and kindness always. This is how we will honor her memory.
