Bonnie's obituary

On Sunday, January 17, 2021, Bonnie Lou Millet, moved to her Heavenly home. Bonnie was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives. She often quoted Psalm 118:24, “This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Her life is a reason to rejoice. Throughout life, Bonnie loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. She was a wonderful example of fulfilling her Godly potential and a powerful prayer warrior for her family, friends and many others.

Bonnie was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 14, 1941 to the late Edmund and Charlotte Burke. Bonnie was preceded in passing by her parents and brothers Robert and Michael Burke. She is survived by her siblings Ken Burke (wife Toni), Jim Burke (wife Kathy), Judi Zack (husband Jim), Mary Houlahan (husband Pat), Tim Burke (wife Diane).

She was married for 59 years to John Millet, Sr. and is survived by her husband, son John Millet, Jr. and wife Peggy; daughter, Gina Kocheff; son, James Millet and wife Lisa; son, Michael Millet and wife Rebecca; grandchildren, Danielle Corbett and husband Taft; Joe Kocheff and wife Leah; Stephen Millet and wife Bethany; Tony Kocheff and wife Kayla; Jessica Kocheff, Nicholas Millet, Nathaniel Millet, Mallory Millet, Macy Millet, Mason Millet, Madeleine Millet and Micah Millet; and four great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Parkside Church 7100 Pettibone Road Bainbridge, Ohio 44023 on Saturday March 13 with Pastor Michael Millet officiating. Friends and family will be received at 12:30 PM with memorial service beginning at 1:00 PM followed by interment at Middlefield Cemetery.

If sending flowers for the service they can only be accepted at the church on Saturday Morning beginning at 9:30 AM
