Bonnie's obituary
Bonnie A Klugh passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025 in Haymarket, VA. She was a beloved partner to Randy, a loving and devoted mother to Bryan and a cherished nana to Brooklyn, Parker, Jillian, Logan, Lila, Warren and Elliott. She was loved by everyone who knew her, especially her family, and she will be missed every single day.
As soon as you’d meet Bonnie, you’d quickly become aware that she was one of the strongest women you’d have the pleasure of getting to know. She was smart, tenacious, quick witted, creative, resourceful, kind hearted, hard working and confident - she never gave way of her authentic self and always brought so much to the table. The stories of her life were always so inspiring because of these qualities and made her such a beautiful person. Out of all her life accomplishments, she was the most proud of being a mother and raising Bryan. Most of her life stories were about him being by her side — she loved him so much and worked so hard to give them a nice life together.
Bonnie loved spending her free time entertaining friends and family, gardening and doing yard work, paddle boarding or boating on the river, relaxing in the pool, cooking and baking delicious meals and treats, doing extravagant arts and crafts and hanging out with her dog, Archie. She radiated love in everything she did; love was a fundamental aspect of her character and it was evident in all her actions and interactions.
Bonnie found her soulmate in Randy and their love story was one for the ages. They filled one another’s days with laughter and love up until the very last. They brought out the very best in each other and found comfort and strength in each other’s presence. Death ends a life, not a relationship - and she will continue to be honored and remembered forever.
One of the most special moments of her life was meeting Bryan and Joan Parsons — they entered her world at such an extraordinary time and meant so much to her. Her face would light up whenever she spoke about them and she was so thankful to know them and create memories with them.
There will be a hole in our hearts as we grieve the loss of someone so special to us. We will smile and laugh as we remember the good times we shared with her, but also mourn the warmth we felt from her love now missing in our lives. Let us pray that she is at peace, comfortable and looking down on us — that she watches over Randy, her children and grandchildren from heaven.
“Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen."
