Bonnie's obituary

Bonnie Kay Klick went to be with our heavenly father on April 1st, 2023 after a courageous 2.5 year battle with Brain Cancer (Glioblastoma).

Bonnie was born in Minneapolis, MN on December 28th, 1955 to Bob and Audrey Snyder. After graduating high school from Robinsdale Senior High, Bonnie went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota. Bonnie had a handful of jobs for a few different fortune 500 companies, but her ultimate goal was to work for a large medical company where she could contribute to making lifesaving devices. This aspiration landed her at Boston Scientific where she spent the majority of her career. While working at Boston Sci, Bonnie enrolled at St Thomas University where she earned a Master’s Degree is Software Systems. Bonnie retired from Boston Scientific in 2016, her final roll being a Manager of Software Engineering.

While Bonnie had many professional accomplishments throughout her career, her favorite job was being a wife, mother and eventually grandmother. Bonnie met her husband, Denny through mutual friends and were bound together from that moment on. In September they would be celebrating 40 years of marriage, and dated for 7 years before that.  They have three children; Ryan, Rachel, and Trevor and was blessed with her three Grandchildren (Quinn, Hazel and Carson)

Some of Bonnie’s hobbies were traveling and getting to see the world. She had a real passion for the outdoors and loved fishing, hiking and bird watching. Bonnie loved reading and always had her nose buried in the pages of a science fiction or fantasy book.

We remember Bonnie most for her selfless nature.  Bonnie always put everyone above herself and was a go to person for life advice. She always knew just what to say to give you comfort in a time of need. Bonnie was a servant of God, and devoted her life to being a good Christian and a follower of the lord. We her family, find comfort knowing that she has earned a place in the lords kingdom in her afterlife.

Bonnie is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Dennis, her three loving children; Ryan (Jodi), Rachel (Matt), Trevor (Erika) and her three adored Grandchildren Quinn (5), Hazel (3) and Carson (8M) and her sister Linda Neyer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Audrey and Bob Snyder, her sister Nancy Gilpin, and her beloved uncle Jerry Thompson.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday April 12, 2023  at The Church of St. Peter. 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN 55025.   Visitation will begin at 10 AM, Mass at 11 AM, and a luncheon with eulogy will follow.
