Bonnie's obituary

Bonnie Lou Holtz, 65, of White Pigeon, MI, sadly passed away on January 05, 2023.

Bonnie was born on September 20,1957 to Mary and Kennie Groves of North Carolina. After graduating from White Pigeon High School a few years later she met Steve Holtz, and they were wed for 18 years.  They have 2 children, Bridget and Michael "Tony".  Bonnie was an avid joke teller and could always put a smile on your face.  She really enjoyed her time spent at Long Lake .  In the summer you could always find Bonnie outside tanning and soaking up the sun, that was her happy place.

After 18 years of marriage Bonnie and Steve separated their ways. Bonnie enjoyed her time she attended church and support groups.  She found peace in the outdoors and she had a true love for cats.

Her death leaves us all looking for answers.

Bonnie is survived by her ex-husband Steve Holtz, her daughter Bridget Bauman, her son Michael "Tony" Holtz and her 2 grandchildren Bradley and Madilyn Bauman. Along with her siblings: Brandi, Toni, Rosemary, Kay, Dave, Connie, Neda, and Larry.  She is preceded in death by her parents Kennie and Mary Groves, her brother Jerry and nephew Cody.

There will be a memorial for Bonnie that will be held at a later date.  The family is still finalizing plans and will release details with date, time, and location for the memorial.
