Bonnie Jean Elsner (nee MacLeod) 57 of Braidwood, IL, formerly of Minooka, IL passed away on August 22, 2022 surrounded by her family at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet, IL

Bonnie was born on February 26, 1965 in Elmhurst, IL to James and Jarice. She grew up in Downers Grove, IL and attended Downers Grove North. She raised two amazing children Richard and Angela. Bonnie was a true jack of all traits and could do anything and was always willing to put in the hard work.

When she was not working Bonnie enjoyed dancing and listening to music (she said music had a place for all of life’s events), practicing her green thumb in her garden, She loved to be in the water and swimming enjoying every ounce of sunshine she could, but most of all she loved to be with her family. Bonnie was a social butterfly that was always joking around and had a contagious laugh that would brighten the room wherever she was. She was a very headstrong woman who will be missed by everyone who had the honor to meet her!

Bonnie is survived by her loving children Richard Alfred Elsner IV and Angela Kasperski (Alyssa); her adoring mother Jarice Macleod-Toon; her beloved sister Sandra; her cherished grandchildren Adonis (16), Daniel (15), Andre (13), Declan (9), and Domico (8) Kasperski, Brandon (13), Junior (12), and Bentley (9) Morgan.

A celebration of life will be held October 15th at Posh Banquets and Event Center in Joliet from 2 p.m.-6 p.m.
