Bonnie's obituary

Bonnie (Sons) Bartholomew, born on April 21, 1955, has sadly passed away on March 22, 2026 after a serious health battle. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Sons, and mother, Eleanore (Carlson) Sons. Her family, friends, and loved ones will remember her as being talkative, outspoken, and for her unique sense of humor.

She graduated from Beecher High School, IL in 1974, and later, Bradley Beauty School, earning her cosmetology degree.

In her past, Bonnie was an avid baker, and delighted in cooking comforting meals. She enjoyed baking all kinds of pies and cookies and sharing them with friends and family. She liked to pass the time playing online bingo, and card games. Bonnie loved the adventure of camping and meeting new people from all over.

Bonnie is survived by her second husband, Andrew (Skip) Bartholomew. She leaves behind her children, Kimberly (Bret) Heffron, Kristina (Daniel) Meder, Kyle (Amanda) Heusner, Andrew Bartholomew, and Karrie Bartholomew. She was also a grandmother to Dakota (Rebekah) Heffron, Autumn Heffron, Audrey (Seth) Akison, Wyatt Heffron, Owen Heffron, Alyson Meder, William, Allen, and Elaina Heusner. She was a great grandmother to Luna Akison.

Bonnie absolutely adored animals, especially horses and dogs. She leaves behind her loyal German Shepherd. Bonnie will forever be remembered in the hearts of many.
