Bonita "Grandma Bonnie" Lynn, born on March 20, 1939, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024. Better known as Grandma Bonnie, she was a kind-hearted woman, always the life of the party. A woman who loved to keep the positive vibes around her, she taught us not to judge and to always keep the party going, regardless of life's adversities. Grandma Bonnie will always be remembered for her love for her family and her exceptional ability to create a warm and loving environment filled with delicious food.
Grandma Bonnie found happiness in the simple things. She loved country music, enjoyed a good beer, and never missed an opportunity to play cards. She was a bit notorious for her ability to cheat at cards - a trait that will be fondly and humorously missed. Besides cards, her favorite recreational activities included drinking beer while having heart-to-heart conversations, adding to the overall warmth of her beloved family gatherings.
She was predeceased by her devoted spouse, Gordon Lynn, and their son Larry Gourley. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Green and Diana Schultz, as well as her grandchildren: Kelly Decker-Philpott, Lacey Kasmarcik, Larry Kasmarcik, Patrick Decker, Tabitha Weed, Vincent White, and Ashley VanoStrand. Her caring and nurturing demeanor, as well as her vibrant personality, will be greatly missed by her entire family and everyone who had the good fortune of knowing her.
