It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Johnson, a cherished member of our community, whose kindness, compassion, and humor touched the hearts of many. Born on August 18, 1973, Charles was a beacon of joy and love throughout his 50 years of life until his peaceful departure on August 2, 2023.
Charles (a native of Louisiana), was known for his gentle, soft-spoken nature and his ability to ignite laughter even in the simplest of moments. He possessed a remarkable kindness that was infectious, effortlessly drawing people towards him. Charles compassion wasn’t just confined to words, it came alive in his actions and his approach towards others.
He believed in leading by example, and lived his life being someone that others could look up to. His life was a testament to his belief that one's actions speak louder than words. His wisdom and teachings, woven into beautiful life lessons, will continue to guide those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Charles leaves behind a powerful legacy - one of love and hope. He taught us that love is the high-tide that bears us through life’s storms and hope is the anchor that keeps us steady. One daughter Breana Johnson, His father James Johnson, Mother Anna Johnson. With a host of nephews, nieces and other beloved relatives.
Our condolences and thoughts go out to his family, friends, and the entire church community; all of whom mourn the loss of this irreplaceable individual. Though he is no longer with us, his memories and teachings will forever remain in our hearts and minds, guiding us and comforting us. Charles Johnson, a man who truly lived, loved, and laughed, will be deeply missed.
