Mr. Cargal’s example and his good buddy’s and colleague’s example, JD Zott, are a big part of why I became an athlete, teacher, and principal. The world will miss wonderful people and men of principle like Bob Cargal.

Our two sons, Jim & Andy Schrant had the pleasure of being in Mr. Cargal’s science classes at Horace Mann. He was a wonderful teacher and human being. He was a role model to both boys and his inspiration led them into public service, with positions in public education and the DEA.
