Blodwyn Gladys Tomlin Garrison (BG) 88 of Charlottesville Va. peacefully passed on September 10th 2025 at English Meadows Senior Living in Crozet Va.

Born September 22nd 1936 in Charlottesville,  Va. she was the daughter of Archie and Thelma Tomlin. She was preceded in death by her parents,her brother Archie Gay Tomlin of Charlottesville, Va.,and her sister Betty Hutchinson of Atlanta, Georgia. 

BG is survived by her three children, Bryan M. Garrison, his wife Rusty Garrison,  Cheryl A. Hotaling and Dean A. Garrison and his wife Kimberly R. Garrison,  grandchildren Autumn I. Garrison and Hunter R. Garrison along with  numerous nieces,nephews and cousins and many friends 

Before graduating from Albemarle H.S. she helped work her family farm (Goodwin Farm),which provided vegetables to several local merchants including Hanover.

BG received her diploma from Charlottesville Academy of Beauty Culture along with graduating from Helene Curtis Professional Beautician School. She later went to nursing school to fulfill her passion in  caring for others.

She was also very active in her children's sports and scouts. BG loved to paint with watercolors, play guitar ,sing , bake ,can her vegetables from her garden and always there to give anyone a home cooked meal. Her love for animals and nature lasted til the end,especially her hummingbirds . If you knew her you knew the meaning of unconditional love, she will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
