Personal note from Blanche's Family

Thank you for the outpouring of support you have shown during the passing of our mother (grandmother, sister, friend). The family definitely feels the love. It is a difficult time for some moreso than others, but together we will keep each other uplifted and remember the sweet memories we shared with our dear mother.

Obituary

Blanche Emagene Dopwell (née Laidlow) was born on the Caribbean Island of St. Vincent & the Grenadines on leap year February 29, 1932. She was the eldest of ten children born to Miriam Agatha Laidlow (née Ross), also known as "Ma" and Norman Elliott Laidlow Senior. As a youth, Sylvia (as she was most affectionately known) attended various schools including Mrs. John's school, Anglican school, Methodist school and Girls High School.
