I was blessed with the privilege of working with with Blair from 1998-2003 as his helper in Yellowknife. Never in my life have I met a more honourable man and friend.  I was shocked today too learn of his passing and all of my heart and prayers go to his family and friends. His humour and demeanour is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. I honestly believe Blair brightened everyone who was fortunate enough too have met him. Fair winds and Following Seas Brother.  I hope to meet again.
My condolence to Blair’s family. I’m a Chiropractor in Saskatoon who Blair saw before he move north and continued when he was home for a visit and an adjustment. I also saw Vera for years as a patient. I always enjoyed his hunting and fishing stories as everything up there is big! Rest in peace my friend

Quite a shock to hear of Blair's passing. We're all going to miss him a lot. I was able to spend many months planning and then over a year travelling with Blair through the Americas when we were younger. I can't recall him ever being angry, he was always looking at the bright side when things got tough. I know that he was looking forward to and planning on his retirement but the way I'm looking at it is that he spent his life living where he wanted and doing what he loved. Our love goes out to all his friends and relatives. We are all better off for having had Blair in our lives.

Our Sympathies to the Wyshynski family on Blairs passing,  so sad to hear,    we spoke to him at Vera's service,  let the memories and this beautiful tribute of Blairs life give you comfort as time goes on....Take care!

So sorry to hear about Blairs passing. We were neighbors but considered you family.  Rode the bus together and had many memories during our life on the farm.   Blessings to all.

My condolences to the Wyshynski family on Blair’s passing. Blair was a great guy and had a Hugh passion for the outdoors and loves helping others, even complete strangers which I witnessed first hand many times

You will be sadly missed my friend

Shoot straight and tight line wherever this next life takes you.

Best regards

Bryan Rendell

We were saddened to hear of Blair’s untimely passing.

I have many memories growing up with Blair. I will always remember his smile. Our farms were very close together and as kids our families played together all the time. I remember celebrating birthday parties with coins in the cake, skating and playing crack the whip at the Elstow rink and always playing outside. Of course, we would also all get into our fair share of trouble.

Hugs to all of you! May time, memories and comfort from loved ones help you as you go through this difficult time.

Until we meet again Blair!

I was saddened to hear about Blair's death.  I remember when growing up Blair coming to our farm and playing with Gary.  You never knew what mischief those two would be getting into. he always had a twinkle in his eye.

Remembering Blair with tender memories. My Mom always said, with so him being so quiet as a kid that “still waters run deep”. Mom and Gramma Hetherington would have been surprised to see his early passing but would have been only two of a large group up in heaven who loved him greatly and welcomed him with open arms.

I can only imagine the gossip and card games going on.

Blair will live in our hearts until we see him again when we go to our next home in heaven.

Sending love to all the cousins.

My deepest condolences to all the family and friends. So young. Although it's been a lot of years our families were pretty close. It hurts my heart.

The last time I seen Blair he was sporting his “Covid hair”, which I thought suited him. He always seemed to be smiling. Sending hugs to his family.
