Billy "Bill" Self JR, 69, of Quitman, TX passed away peacefully on February 28, 2023, at his home with his loving wife Cathye Self by his side. Bill will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Bill was born September 19, 1953 to Billy Self Sr and Patsy Self (Eastham). Bill was predeceased by his son Billy Self III, father, Billy Self Sr., mother, Patsy Self (Eastham), brother, David Campbell and sister Gayla Self. He is survived by wife, Cathye Self, daughter Stacy Horner and husband Ben,  and daughter Tara Fox. Brother John Campbell and wife Susan  and his sister Beverly Womack. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren Chelsey Martinez and husband Martin, Carla Douglas and husband Tim, Chloe and Makinzy Horner, Tonya Walsh, Krista Williams and husband Tyler, Megan and Matthew Wise, Ricky Fox Jr, and Ayden Self.  Also 11 great grandchildren Isaac and  Emmalynn Martinez and soon to be Sophia Martinez, Ashton, Braylon, Octavia, and  Jensen Douglas, Tristan Deaton and Madelyn Walsh, Zora, Quinn and Connor Williams. Bill requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Bill’s family and friends to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at the home of Stacy and Ben Horner 105 Belden Circle Mckinney, TX 75069 on March 26, 2023 at 2:00pm.
