It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Mr. Billy Ray Graben, age 69 of Ider, AL on Monday July 14, 2025. Billy Ray passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and loved ones. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Rosalie rescue squad for 20 years. Billy Ray was always a phone call away whenever he was needed. He was known for his selflessness and caring nature, always prioritizing others above himself. 

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 26th from 5pm-6pm at  90 County Road 323 Ider AL 35981.   Attire: casual.  Billy Ray enjoyed his overalls and blue jeans.

Mr. Graben is survived by his loving wife of 26 years (together a total of 31 years) Sharon Koger Graben. 

Daughter- Darla Koger Franklin(Phillip)   

Grandchildren he and Sharon have raised for 10 years -Aubrey Loveless, Adlynn Loveless, Silas Johnson. 

Daughter in law- Lauren Loveless 

Grandchildren- Zoey, Zayden, and Zeplynn Franklin. Korbin and Velocity Loveless. Khloe Compton. 

Chosen Sons- Jerry Labron, Lamar, Greg. 

Brothers- Tim Graben, Mike Graben.

Sister- Karen Smith.

Half-sister- Christine Graham

Sister-in-law- Robin Godwin(Greg)

Sister-in-law- Rita Young(Rick) 

Brother-in-law- Wayne Koger

A host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
