It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Billy Jo Campbell, a dearly beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend, who left us peacefully on April 6, 2025 Billy Jo was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him, and his warmth and kindness will be deeply missed.
Billy Jo cherished every moment spent with his family, finding joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether it was gathering for holiday celebrations, sharing stories over a cup of tea, or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon together, his love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel special and valued, and his laughter was a source of comfort and joy.
Beyond his family, Billy Jo touched the lives of many in his community. His generous spirit and willingness to lend a helping hand were hallmarks of his character. he had a unique gift for bringing people together, fostering connections that will endure even in his absence.
Billy Jo is survived by his loving children, joe and William his cherished grandchildren, Crystal, Grace, Frances, Matthew and Daniel and his dear siblings, Chester, Ezra, and Thomas, great grandchildren Tyler, Trevor, Meagan, Macie, Jordan, and Carson. Each of them carries a piece of his heart and the countless memories they created together.
As we remember Billy Jo, let us celebrate his life and the love he shared so freely. In his honor, we invite all who knew his to reflect on the moments that brought joy and to carry forward his legacy of kindness and compassion.
A memorial service will be held on April 19, 2025 at Martin Thompson & Son Funeral Home, where family and friends can gather to share their memories and celebrate the beautiful life of Billy Jo Campbell. Billy Jo Campbell may have left this world, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
