Billy Joe Cardwell

   September 22, 1949 - April 15, 2026

   If you knew him, you loved him, Heaven is a better place.

Billy Cardwell was born in Houston and grew up in The Heights,

now known as the Houston Heights.

He passed away peacefully in ICU at Methodist Hospital on the

Morning of April 15, with loved ones by his side. Billy was a loving

Husband, father and brother. He was a great patriot,

always honoring our military with his other brothers & sisters

Of “Rolling Thunder” a motorcycle patriot group that does all they can to honor our men & women who have fallen or are currently serving our country, Billy was a proud member of the texas patriot guards, he loved participating in the rituals at the yearly Houston Renaissance festival with his wife Cathy and his son Doug. Billy loved life and sharing stories.

We will miss him terribly, but we understand God has a master plan and Billy is now honoring his part with our lord & savior.

Billy is survived by his loving wife of more than 50 years, Cathy Cardwell

Son, Doug Cardwell, brother Kenny Cardwell, sister-in-law Mary Cardwell,

Brother-in-law Danny McGriff.

Preceded in death by his Mother Alta Cardwell, son Shane Cardwell,

And brother Gerald Cardwell.

Memorial Service honoring Billy will be held Friday, April 24, 10:00 a.m.

Graveside service to follow from 11:00-11:30 a.m.

Visitation service is Thursday, April 23, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
