Billie's obituary
Billie Louise Curtis Harvey, 96, of Wichita Falls, Texas, formerly of Muleshoe, Texas, passed away February 4, 2026.
She was born to Robert L and Janie (Pinter) Curtis on May 27, 1929 in Smyer, Texas. She was a dedicated housewife, mother, and caretaker. She worked hard throughout her life and raised four children with strength and resilience.
Billie lived in Muleshoe, Texas for a number of years before moving to Wichita Falls in 2016, to live with her daughter. She was regular patron of the Muleshoe Senior Center where she spent most days having lunch, playing games, then attending the senior dances on weekends. She had many friends there. Billie worked at the local Lowe's grocery store office several years before retiring. One of her favorite pastimes was sewing. She was a talented seamstress and was able to make or repair almost anything. She believed in planning for the future and passed on this wisdom to her family, teaching them the importance of saving for a rainy day.
Billie Harvey lived an impactful life, filled with love, compassion, and strength. Through her favorite activities, her teachings, and her indomitable spirit, she leaves behind a legacy of love and wisdom that will continue to inspire and guide her family, friends, and all those who knew her.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Margie Watson.
She is survived by a sister, Margaret (Sammie) Wright and her loving children, Joanie Harvey, Cindy Neal, Janie Kesey and husband Carl, and Jim Harvey and wife Susie. She also had 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A memorial will be held at a later date to celebrate Billie's life.
