Billie's obituary
Mrs. Hamilton-Pierce was born August 16, 1936, in Commerce, TX. She was the daughter of Martin and Ella Key and was the eldest of six siblings.
She was preceeded in death by both of her parents, her husband, Johnny Hamilton Sr., her son Leslie Wayne Campbell and her siblings: Bobby Ray Key, Marjorie Hancock, Martin "Junior" Key, and Clarence Key.
She is survived by her sister, Wynell Hamilton of Greenville, TX and her brother Ronnie Key and his wife, Charlene Key of Maybank, TX;
her daughters, Brenda Pierce of Lone Oak, TX and Theresa Gander of Irving, TX and her stepchildren: Johnny Hamilton Jr., Debbie Smith, Leslie Mitchell and Frankie Hamilton. Her grandchildren include: Kevin Pierce, Kaity Hinman, Christy Campbell, Les Campbell, Krista Campbell, Cody Campbell, David Lee Smith, Donald Smith, Daniel Smith, Colten Hamilton, and Megan, Caden and Carson Mitchell. She also had several beloved nieces and nephews.
Bille was a Baptist and a long time resident of Hunt County. For many years she served the area as a property manager. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with and caring for her family, and singing old gospel hymns. She will long be remembered as a strong woman, a devoted wife, a wonderful sister and a most loving mother and grandmother.
The memorial service for Billie Hamilton-Pierce will be held at the Creekside Church of Christ, in Greenville, TX on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 2:30 pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
