Billie's obituary
In loving memory of our mother, Billie Frisby, born October 6, 1936, passed away on September 16, 2022, at her home in Arlington, Texas.
She was the devoted wife of Bill Frisby for 60 years. A loving mother of five children, Mary, Corinthia, John, Eddie, Rita, and her favorite 4 legged child, Duke and everyone that walked into her home.
Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Growing up, she was always there for us, whether we needed help with our homework or just a shoulder to cry on. She was a woman of strong faith and she instilled in us the importance of family, hard work, and doing what is right. She loved the Lord and was an active member of her church, Arlington Baptist Church, at the time of her death . Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Bob Frisby; parents, Arthur Cupit and Mary Alice Cupit; brother, Robert Cupit; sisters, Arthur Marie Pinkard; and Frankie Ann Kimbrell.
She is survived by her children, Mary Edwards and husband Don, of El Paso, Texas; Corinthia (Kenny) Strong and husband Gary, of Arlington, TX; John Frisby and wife Theresa, of Midlothian, TX; Eddie Frisby and wife Karin, of Arlington, TX; Rita Reimer and husband Jim, of Bartow, FL; fur child, Duke; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Candy Laverne Vaughn; sister-in-laws Melvina Nixon; Dawn Cupit; multiple cousins; nieces; nephews; and dear friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
The funeral service will be held at Arlington Baptist Church located at 3434 South Collins Arlington, Texas 76014 on Saturday, September 24th 2022 at 11:00 AM. Burial is Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 10 AM at Marsden Cemetery in Hermitage, Arkansas.
Mama, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
