Billie was born to Bonnie Folker and Billy Mitchell on February 3rd, 1956. As a child, Billie loved to read and she carried that love into her adulthood.
Billie joins her "baby" Shane Edwards, who went to be with the Lord on December 21st, 2021, her Mother Bonnie Folker, her Father Billy Mitchell, her grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
She is survived by her husband, Lee Edwards. Together, they raised four children.
She is survived by her children, Alana Godwin (Joey Godwin), Jerry Edwards (Wendy Edwards), Renee Wright, her siblings Kenneth Mitchell (Judy Mitchell), Rosa Folker, her grandchildren Alexus Short (Rick Short), Austin Olive (Mary Katherine Olive), Caleb Edwards (Autumn Carter), Matthew Edwards (Gabrielle Edwards), Michael Lanese (Gloria Lanese), Jeremiah Cope, Lydia Edwards, Gracie Edwards, Micah Cope, Nicholas Lanese, Joseph Godwin, Josiah Godwin, her great-grandchildren Caleb Short, Elijah Short, Jeremiah Short, Everleigh Olive, Axel Edwards, her nieces and nephews Kelsey Folker, Brian Mitchell, Jason Mitchell, Stephen Mitchell, Chris Mitchell, and numerous cousins.
Together, her and Lee created a beautiful life with 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to being a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and friend, Billie also loved to sit on the porch and watch the birds, and spend time with her dogs, Bella and Maddie. She was passionate about doing things to make everyone feel loved, and she had such a big, giving heart that changed the lives of those around her. She adored her family, and she also adored western shows, worship music, and Diet Pepsi. Throughout her life, she remained a faithful servant of God and all who knew her knew she loved the Lord.
