She was magic. Growing up with her was like growing up with a fairytale character. We literally had wild animals voluntarily living with us. During holidays the whole house would transform as if under a spell. I think that the magic stemmed from my parents love, my dad made all of her dreams come true and she was unconditionally devoted to him. Their love was like a well spring that in the best of times, made life seem like a dream and in the worst of times, had us all survive.
