My thoughts and prayers are with all family members. My heart breaks for you. I had not seen Bill for about 30 years, but had the most pleasant opportunity to be at a function with him about 2 weeks ago. What a joy and blessing to have been able to visit with he and Charlotte, and "catch up" with family happenings. Bill seemed very happy, and that will be a lasting memory for me. Bill was Bill sometime he was stubborn  in some things but he always had a big heart and he would do anything for you. He was my brother and sometimes we fought on things but must of the time we were together for most things. We have relatives that live on a farm in the Montrose, PA area that we visited all the time.  Bill loved it there because he was able to drive the tractor and help plow and do haying while we were there. Our Uncle Elmer always wanted Bill to come up and help out but it was me who went up most of the time. Bill's passion was trains.  We always went over to our neighbor John Enoch and Bill helped him with his trains set - setting up the table and everything he could work on. Bill joined the Navy and I joined the Marines.   He went to the Mideast and I went to the far east.  He was in Israel when the fought the 6 day war. Bill's whole time in the Navy was on the Saratoga.   It was coming into drydock for repairs and I had to go meet him. When I got there the ship was just coming.  I was trying to figure out how I was going to find him so I climbed a tower that was right across from the ship which was  the same height as the flight deck.  I looked across trying to see him and I saw him coming across the flight deck with his buddies. I was able o get his attention and bring him home while the ship was in dry dock.  These are just some of the memories I have of my brother.  There are many more such as us working together at Custer's Garage driving school buses - me a big bus and him a van and the many ways people distinguished us at work.  I will always carry these memories in my heart especially the last few years at Custer's where we saw each other almost every day.
